The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity 700 will most likely debut officially the next week, but there’s already a launch video online, the lengthy one you can watch below. This model was shown back at CES 2012 and at MWC 2012 and it was announced back then as coming in June. Well, now we know that it will debut in mere days and start selling in July/August for around $700 to $800.

We’re dealing here with one of the few Android-based full HD tablets on the market, one packing a quad core Tegra 3 CPU. Many people have called the Infinity Pad an “upgraded Prime” and they’re quite right to do so, since it has many things in common with the first quad core slate from ASUS, but also many upgrades. One of them is the slight bump in CPU power, another is the increase of the front camera resolution, plus a change of design, to stop all connectivity problems and obviously the full HD screen.

This slate uses a Super IPS  LCD 10.1 inch display, with Gorilla Glass 2 protection and provides a micro HDMI port for viewing quality content on the big screen. And with that being said I can mention that we have a little surprise for you, related to this tablet… You’ll learn more about that on June 25th!
